Types of Fencing

Closeboard Fencing

Built on site and is very strong. This is good for gardens with sloping ground as the fence can follow the contours of the ground, which means the fence doesn't need to be stepped.

Closeboard Panel Fence

This can be fitted with slotted concrete posts and sat on a concrete gravel board. This is a very low maintenance style and ideal for areas where ground levels are different to those of your neighbour.

Larch Lap Fence Panels

This is a traditional fence panel which can be fitted to wooden or concrete slotted posts, the boards run horizontally, this is often used by those with a more limited budget.

Fence Trellis & Screening

This can be added to the top of your fence to increase the height and give a decorative finish, but won't block out any more light. Types of trellis varies, and can be standard trellis, which is ideal for climbing plants, to privacy which can divide off an area, creating an intimate dining or relaxing space. It can even be used to hide those dreaded wheelie bins.

Picket Fencing

This is a traditional style of fencing with gaps left between each pale and is available in various finishes. This style allows light and wind to pass through it. It is also ideal to protect plant today areas and blends in easily with the surroundings. It is very popular for children's play areas as it forms a secure barrier.

Stock Fencing

This is perfect for keeping your pets in, and those unwanted animal visitors out. It will still allow you to enjoy uninterrupted views and can be designed to suit the needs of your garden or paddock.

Chainlink Fence

This is very similar in its purpose to stock fencing in the garden, but offers a more substantial option. Green chainlink, fitted onto black angle iron posts, is an ideal long-term choice which will secure your boundary with existing or newly planted hedges.

Post & Rail Fencing

Various styles of this can be achieved in your garden or paddock and is often used to keep animals in. Cleft post and rail gives a more decorative finish.
